Too Faced: Glamour to go

As anyone who knows me will already be aware that I'm the biggest beauty product fan there is and I would never recommend any product that I would not have myself...so what have I found today????

Too Faced, Glamour To Go II....I already reviewed and bought the Too Faced Natural Eye Kit, this goes one step further:
8 eyeshadows
4 lipglosses
1 blusher
All which fit neatly into a little box that can slip into a small clutch bag, perfect for night outs or touch ups during the day!!!!

This little palette is available in two colours, one darker than the other, but both are very much wearable and worth the money

Debenhams £16.00 and all other Too Faced Stockists

Vogue India, What happened to the Feb Cover.....

The latest issue of Vogue India has Sarah Jessica Parker on it, but surely this can't be a re-print of her Glamour magazine cover.
Vogue India usually comes up with some very eye catching covers with actors, actresses from Bollywood and models all over the world.

This cover looks messy and unappealing because of the colours they've chosen and the amount of text on it.....

And heres the Glamour cover...spot the difference!

Here are some amazing covers from Vogue India from 2009 though!

January : Tabu
February : Jennifer Aniston
March : Freida Pinto
April : Michelle Obama
May : Lakshmi Menon
June : Shilpa Shetty
July : Deepika Padukone
August : Feroze Gujral, Ujjwala Raut, Jyothsna Chakravarthy & Shobha De
September : Gisele Bündchen
October : Shahrukh Khan & Kajol

ILLAMASQUA !! Make up not for the faint hearted !

Browsing through Selfridges....I have to do a double take because, what do I see opposite the M.A.C Counter....an Illamasqua Counter. What, who where, I can hear you say!!!  This is theatrical make up available to us all, for those of us who are daring and adventurous enough to play with the colours, and those who like to be a little subtle, its all there for you!
The sales assistants at the counter look like they've just come out of stage production, with immaculate make up, perfectly painted on.

"1920's Berlin" collection
"Dystopia" collection A/W 2009

So where has this come from? Illasmasqua was inspired by the 1920's Club scene and also "alternative scene".
It is about being different and being able to wear your look confidently, the colours are bold, like making a statement, dressing your alter ego and expressing it proudly!
Their website has tutorials on achieving the looks along with lots of other information about stockists and collections.

 "Fantasy" collection

The packaging maybe understated but the products are powerful...This brand maybe swaying me away from YSL !!!

DENIM ON DENIM ???? Who's idea was that ?

Having not blogged for the last few months, I’m now back regularly with the newest finds and the latest trends, eyes and ears open to update all my fellow bloggers and followers.
Sooo….the BIG fashion no no has at last got the green light, DENIM ON DENIM!!!!!!

Personally not a great fan of wearing denim bottoms and tops together, but hey if the fashion guru’s like Chloe got it on the catwalks then, not long before we’re bombarded in the shops with it!

This could be something some of us have been waiting for or something that we just want over, quickly and painlessly as possible, I prefer the latter! But for ideas of how to wear it "correctly", heres a few images to help!!!

Pretty Polly, Pretty Cool!

Pretty Polly is cemented in hosiery as being one of the best and their latest designs are nothing to shy away from, with the brand getting together with House of Holland and launching a Limited Edition of tights and socks.
Wearing tights during these winter months is most definitely far from boring black..the only question is how daring are you?
The range comes from everything in the brightest colours, to the more artistic printed ones like the mock suspender and over the knee tights.

They are available on the high street from Topshop and River Island and online from www.asos.com. Go get em! £10-£12

Found By Create, New Vintage Charity Shop in Leeds

Found By Create is finally open, after the Mayoress of Leeds cut the ribbon today !!!!

This is a vintage charity shop with a difference, it has all the elements of an upmarket boutique, with the exclusiveness of serving a good cause, so whoever thought charity shops are not the shops to be seen in....think again!

And luckily we at Leeds City College had the opportunity to be part of this, by merchandising the store, stocking, visually enhancing it and preparing for the opening in St. John's Centre, Leeds.

So next time you're in Leeds, be sure to have a wander round and see if you can pick up a "one off" piece as stock changes regularly...And whilst your there also check out Ringlit's Collection of bespoke, individual pieces by upcoming designers in the region, which is showcasing at Found.
